Story Framework Audit
Get a clear outline for your story.
You have a story worth telling, even if it’s to yourself. But every time you sit down to write, something feels off. The structure isn't quite right. The plot has gaps you can't quite see. You're not sure where to start fixing it.
The Story Framework Audit gives you a clear, actionable outline for your story. It uses my Tension Anchor Framework, a systematic approach to story structure developed for people who think precisely and want answers, not more advice to wade through.
The Audit is primarily structural. I look at how your story is built: where the key moments land, where the tension holds or slackens, and where the gaps are. You may get comments on your prose along the way, but that's secondary. This is a diagnosis of structure, not a line edit.
This is for you if:
- You have a story you care about, anywhere from a few paragraphs of notes to a finished manuscript
- You think in structure and systems, and you want a clear diagnosis rather than more general advice
- You can feel that something is off, but you can't quite see where the problem is
- You've waded through writing advice that was either too vague or too contradictory to use
- You prefer to work on your own schedule, by email, without calls or fixed sessions
This is NOT for you if:
- You're mainly after a line edit or a verdict on the quality of your writing
- You want classes, group calls, or a writing community
- You want someone to write the story for you
- You're after reassurance more than an honest assessment of what's working and what isn't
- You'd rather be handed a fix than understand why your story isn't holding together
As a former software developer, I created the Tension Anchor Framework after getting lost in contradictory writing advice and frameworks that were either too simple or too complicated to be useful. My analysis draws on this systematised methodology, supported by AI-assisted tools, so you get structured, consistent results without the wait.
A note on AI: I use AI-assisted tools as part of my analysis. The tools I use do not train on what you send, and your material stays confidential. Your story stays yours.
What you get:
- A story outline using the Tension Anchor Framework
- Assessment of your characters and overall story
- Suggested story improvements
- A direct response to your biggest current challenge
- Recommended next steps
One honest note: this Audit gives you a clear structural diagnosis and a plan to work with. It can't promise publication or commercial success. What you do with the outline, and how the market responds, stays in your hands.
How it works: Fill in a short questionnaire. I review your story (even if it's just a couple of paragraphs of ideas) and deliver a document within 3 business days after payment. If you send something substantial, like a full manuscript, we will agree on a revised turnaround date before any payment is made. After you receive your audit, you get one round of clarification questions within 7 business days, so you're never left puzzling over anything on your own. Everything happens by email. No Zoom calls, no scheduled sessions, no performance anxiety.
Investment: $500 USD
Guarantee: Not the right fit? Tell me within those same 7 business days and I'll refund you in full. No forms, no explanation needed.
Want ongoing support beyond the Audit? The Story Advisor works with you through the full arc of your story, from first draft to publication. The Audit is included at no extra cost if you don't yet have an outline.
