Tension Anchor Framework Quick Check

Fill in the six anchors for one story and the page will lay them out as a spine you can read top to bottom, then flag the phrasings that most often hide a structural gap. It has not read your story, so it cannot tell you whether the beats truly escalate or hold together. Reading them in order is how you feel that for yourself.

No email required. Nothing you type leaves your browser, and nothing is saved.

Changes the example only. It does not change the checks.

Optional. Only labels the result.

What happens that makes the central conflict imminent? An event or a choice, not a mood.

The moment escape stops being possible. What locks the conflict in?

The shift that makes the story a different shape. What changes, and how is it bigger than before?

Where the path narrows to one. The strongest version turns on a choice with a cost.

When hope and options look exhausted. What is stripped away?

Where the central conflict resolves and the promise is delivered. What happens at the end?

Checks how the six anchors are phrased and sequenced, not whether they hold together as a story.
